How to install applications on a BlackBerry Curve 8520 ? 

Solution

To download applications on your BlackBerry Curve, you will need aBlackBerry ID and an Internet connection on your phone (Wi-Fi or internet data plan). 
Install the BlackBerry App World application on your phone:

• Go to Menu> Browser.
• Choose the 'Visit BlackBerry App World'.
• Select the link 'Download BlackBerry App World'.
• Select 'Download Now'.
• You select the language preference, accept terms and conditions and start downloading.
• The download is complete, exit the browser.
• Menu > Downloads> 'Blackberry App World'.
• Accept terms of use.

To download appliations

• Click on Blackberry App World.
• In the search box enter the name of the application.
• In the results list, select the one you want.
• You will be prompted to login with your BlackBerry ID to begin the download process.

Create a BlackBerry ID from Web browser

• Go to this page https://blackberryid.blackberry.com/bbid/registration/registration_eula.seam

• Fill in the required information. Your username will be your email. Once completed all fields, click "Send"

Create a BlackBerry ID from your BlackBerry phone(v7.1)

• Click the BlackBerry App World icon
• Click on "My World"
• Scroll to the bottom and click on "Create New"
• Click the "I Agree" button at the bottom of the terms and conditions and follow the instructions.
