Android - How to get your GPS location?

Most of the latest Android smartphones are equipped with a GPS unit . This feature allows you to access several location based features:

• Track or create routes.
• Get directional information.

The "Google Maps" application, natively installed on Android smartphones can:

• Display your current location on a map.
• Display visual/audio guidance for your travel.
• Display information on traffic and places of interest.

• GPS coordinates and location as the name already suggest an application that displays your current GPS coordinates (longitude, latitude, altitude..accuracy of signal). This app also gives you the possibility yo share your GPS position via SMS, email or on social networks.
• GPS Status & Toolbox is a very complete application. It can display your current GPS position and other information such as the strength of the GPS signal, its accuracy, speed or altitude.
