Android - How to block calls and SMS from hidden numbers?

It may be sometimes useful to block calls or SMS from a hidden (unknown) number. There are several solutions available for Android users. 
Some software overlays include features to block hidden number (accessible directly from the parameters of the smartphone). The procedure may vary depending on the manufacturer and model. This option is usually available via the "Phone" application.

• Open the Phone app
• Click the "Menu" button and click "Call Settings".
• Then select "Reject call".
• Enable the automatic rejection, then click "Auto reject list" and select "masked calls."

If your Android smartphone does not include this option, you can use an application to block unwanted calls.
